You do realise Antifa as an organisation isn't a thing, yeah. There's fascists and then everyone else.

 

Anyone anti-fascist is labelled "Antifa" by the erm.. fascists, as if it's some form of ISIS thing, those who you allude to are likely extreme left wing nutjobs and it appears the fascists have successfully convinced you that anyone who is anti fascist (Antifa for short) = violent far left extremist.

Well no, not really, I think I said on here last summer that I was in the incredible position of having been invited to an anti immigrant protest at a hotel in Bournemouth by some individuals I know through football and it’s counter protest led by Dorset Antifa, one of who’s leading lights is an old mate from the 90s. He’s gone off the deep end and is involved in the violent opposition of those as equally opposed to him. It’s a sort of way of life for him now, he’s incapable of normal interaction on a social level, he’s committed to a life of just being against something and in favour of nothing, unless it’s a society ruled by the doctrines of Marxism. That would be equally as bad as a land ruled by fascism. Both are extremes…

But that's the thing, all extremes are bad, but to equate everyone who is anti-fascist with your nutter mate is crazy.

 

Fascism/authoritarianism is basically mainstream these days, and is actively being pushed, via Trump/Musk/Farage etc. Your mate is lunatic fringe and will likely remain so.
