In a couple of seasons, they'll be uploading our games to pornhub anyway ;)

 Tbf compilations of Bruno running games could go on there now.

Rayvin, you’ve logged in on your Pornhub account mate… no one’s noticed yet 😉

Have just discovered Forest's matchday thread on their forum - first page (to be read in the voice of a whiny 6 year old) "we're an unknown quantity, people are going to be surprised by how high up the pitch we play, we'll beat these we owe them for 1974 (???).

Doubt I need pornhub tonight, the schadenfraude should do for me.

I mean look at this unmitigated shit - one of the most delusional posts I've ever seen, it would be eyebrow raising on RTG ffs. Bruno equalled by some wanker I've never heard of called O'Brien, apparently. This is pre-game mind, I'd imagine reality kicks the door down at some point:

Goalies:
1 Pope v Henderson: not a lot to choose between them; both in contention for an England place... honours even: PAR

Defenders:
2 Trippier v Williams: Trippier immensley experienced at this level, and a full England international, but at 31 are his best years behind him? Williams, young rookie, full Wales international with the best years yet to come. Overall honours even: PAR.
3 Targett V Toffolo: both have reprsented England at juniour levels, both aged 26... honours even: PAR
4 Botman v Worrall: Botman is the rookie in comparison to Joe. I think given the formal announcement of Club Captaincy, Joe shades it : Forest 1 under Par after 4.
5 Schar v Niakhate: Close one to call, with Schar having the benefit of 89 games for NUFC in the Prem under his belt. Niakhate is vastly experienced in the Budesliga, but as yet unblooded in the Prem. Has show a lot of class in the friendlies. I think his being 4 years younger at 26 will shade it for Moussa: Forest another 1 under Par... 2 under after 5!
6 Joelinton v McKenna: not a perfect match-out this one, but best I could do! I think Joelinton shades it over McKenna. Newcastle 1 under Par. Forest 1 under after 6.

Midfield:
7 St-Maximan v Johnson: both quick, and with an eye for goal, and both can be match-winners on their day. St Maximan probably shades it over Bren because of his experience. Another 1 under for Newcastle. Back to Par after 7.
8 Bruno v O'Brien: Brazillian technical brilliance against English guts and no little skill; honours even: PAR after 8.
9 Anderson v Colback: Ginger Jack will be out to prove something... forget comparative skills here. Forest 1 under Par... 1 Under Par after 9
10 Almiron v Lingard: I've seen Almiron weave magic in some games, and be subbed off as totally ineffective in others; Lingard will be up for this game to prove Talk Spunk and Danny Mills know sweet FA... Forest 1 under; 2 under after 10.

Strikers:
Wilson v Surridge (or Awoniyi): Wilson is a cracking player: big lad who is good with both feet and his head, plus he has pace and experience at this level. Neither Surridge nor Awoniyi h

Had been reading their forum prior to the game and although I love confidence they seemed to think their past alone means something in 2022, glad we shut them up for a while.

Exactly! Tbf to them they actually choked it down pretty well afterwards, but the pre-match baseless bravado was a sight to behold.

 That genuinely is mackem levels of delusion. Imagine comparing a Brazil international to some chopper they bought from Huddersfield and thinking they’re equal.

Anybody else think based on today ASM looks like he may get Howed this season?

You can still questions his decision making and end product at times but I thought he seemed to link up better with the team and his overall awareness and passing was improved. Long way to go but some positives there for me.

He needs to stop just standing about or walking when he loses possession, so many times today he was the ONLY member of the team not jogging at least. I was raging at him today and felt a bit sorry for the lads sat next to me - I think I just hit a snap point with him - all I see is ego.

I did think while I was watching the highlights that I should ask the matchgoers this, when this happens what are Howe and Tindall doing? Are they going off their nut at him on the sidelines telling him to start tracking back?

If they're not then it might be time to let it go and just assume he's not expected to do it, considering how much we use him as an out ball it could well be that his instructions are to stay forward and be an option when we do win the ball back.

This is the page the offending post is on but honestly I'd start from the beginning.

Christ, over the next few pages there is one person who points out that any of those ratings are off and its just that Bruno and whoever their bloke is were probably not on par.

Trippier has won La Liga and finished runner up in the champions league and in the Euros with england, but their lads a wales international so they're on par

And people say our fanbase is deluded.

Enjoyed that. All the bravado pre match and then 10 mins in someone posts "It's a completely different game, isn't it?"..... "Blimey it's like the blitz"..... "This is a difficult listen."

Anyway I don't know why I'm doing this, I've got nowt against them and would rather they stayed up than a handful of other PL teams. And it was their first day back for years so what's wrong with a bit of bravado. Basically I'm a cunt.

The thing is as well, there's probably 10+ other grounds they could have gone to yesterday and come away feeling a lot better about the season. Us under Howe at SJP was one of the worst destinations for a newly promoted side cos we're a nightmare to play against now, especially at home.

It's absolutely incredible the job Howe has done. A season ago, Forest could have come up here and probably been a coin flip to leave with a result, but we strangled the life out of them for 90 minutes yesterday. A proper professional team managed by a serious bloke.

5 of us made the journey up yesterday, arrived in a sun drenched newcastle just gone 11. couple of beers outside the union rooms or liberty house as it is now, not really my kind of place to be honest, but hey, I wish them well. head off to rafferty's (forest supporters had made the bars across from the train station pretty much their own, but not a hint of any bother I could see) to pick up a brighton ticket and confirmation of a wolves one too and then off to the percy.

really enjoyed the match, was never in any real doubt we'd make the breakthrough, joelinton (first half especially) willock and bruno all superb. on another day 4 or 5 could've been the outcome

tip of the day....

5 blokes in a renault captur is a bad fit over an 8/9 hour journey, never been so pleased to get out of a car so much in my life as I was last night.

don't be tempted to do it!  :)

Highlights of the match yesterday.

1. The bloke in the Milburn stand who headed a cleared ball back onto the pitch like a Dan Burn special. Must have knacked

2. Three slightly pissed lads in front of me. Only one had returned 10 minutes into the 2nd half and eventually he spotted them lost, half way up an aisle, half way across the leazes. He stood up waved and shouted and then the local crowd joined in. A few minutes later they sheepishly stumbled back to a round of applause.

As for the game itself, they were shite and with another two additions to our starting 11 they would have been on a hiding. Looks like Botman is going to have to do a Bruno and wait for his opportunity as the other two did well.

Nice to start with a win and two brilliant goals, but it will be a big shame if we don’t add a couple before the window closes.

Haven't read the thread in its entirety, but has anyone mentioned the Forest corner routine where no fucker was in the box, they all ran in, and Pope calmly collected the ball under little to no pressure? Galaxy brain shit right there

I thought they didn’t realise they had a corner.
