Villa win again 😬

Fulham are basically the Beach Boys.  That fucking flat line man.

Anyway, Villa 5 points (effectively 6) behind with 2 games less to play.  We have nothing to worry about from Villa.  We would actually benefit from them continuing this good form* and taking points off Spurs, Man United and Liverpool who they still have to play.

* When I say good form, they managed 0.9 xG at home v Fulham and when asked who his man of the match was on comms last night, Steve McManaman started laughing.

Media still banging on about Liverpool. Don't want to mention Villa.

It's cos Liverpool have a better chance of getting CL than Villa - more margin for error cos more games to play. Brighton have the best chance of all.

Even if Villa win all their remaining games, it very likely won't be enough (and it would snatch points off Man United, Liverpool and Spurs, all of whom they have left to play, which is good news for us and bad news for Man United).

See below for some incredible analysis of the run in.

as regards aston villa.....

putting aside their shit bedsheet banner from '09 I'd have no real problem with them maintaining their upward trend since emery took over in to next season to be honest, provided we take 6 points off them, obviously!

far more right to be regarded as a 'big' club than fucking tottenham.

While Villa deserve credit for a great run were the only side they’ve played in the current top eight. Don’t believe the hype.

Remaining they have

Man Yoo (A)
Wolves (A)
Spurs (H)

Liverpool (A)
Brighton (H)

They could easily get fuck all points from them.

When will the stat boys just accept villa are a decent side with emery

The W D L system of analysis is outdated and redundant now that we have xP, xG, xA, xCetera.

Lads, I'm simply not as keen as some of you are on necking beige spunk. It doesn't make me a bad person.

Beige spunk. I've seen that twice before. First time in an STD clinic back in the day (I was a medical student in training before people get the wrong idea), and secondly in certain videos I may have seen. Alright, quite a few videos.

Villa mate of mine said that the first half was ok, the second half they were shit and boring. He didn't like it when I suggested that's very on brand for Aston Villa.

Lads (and maybe one lass), it’s going to be okay. Gemmill and his anal cysts said so.

Hang on a second, your sheets were 90% urine after the Villa game.

Nope, fake news. In fact I I did give credit to Villa rather than slagging us off, still see them as our biggest threat (although Gemiill makes some good points about games played and fixtures), but always maintained we would be fine if we beat spurs, which I expected we would. Now we have, it would take something catastrophic for us to miss out. Ani't happening.

If we beat Everton tomorrow will some of you finally stop wetting the bed?

if we win tomorrow, top four is all but certain. six points from our next two games and it's a stress-free party until the end of the season.
