📢 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT 📢

I'm taking this opportunity to OFFICIALLY renew my Everton will be relegated this season prediction.

If you've got anything cheeky to say about this, kindly place your head between your legs and shout it up your frankly filthy arsehole.

The thing about Everton is they never go down, despite how shite they are.

It's true  But this season they're easily one of the shittest teams.  If they don't ship fat frank soon they're fucked. Question is.  Who comes in?

Predictably, the media are suggesting Rooney on account of how well he did at Derby. Remind me who the bright, young, ex-England international they had as manager before him?

Forest, Everton and Southampton will go down for me.

Just like their cousins on Wearside, they'll circle the drain a bit first.

Goals conceded versus how many goals you'd expect the teams to give up per 90.

Look at how much Everton are relying on Pickford. They're conceding enough chances that you'd expect them to ship 1.66 goals per 90 (Only Nottingham and Fulham give up more). They're only conceding 1.18 goals per 90,  there are only 4 teams conceding fewer.

They're not creating much (only Bournemouth and Wolves create less) and as above they're giving up loads of chances.

@Gemmill makes a decent prediction.

Add to their current performance the incompetence of their board to appoint the right man and they're in for a world of hurt. Lampard has no discernible style, but I'd still not be surprised to see them appoint someone to replace him who prefers a style that's wildly inappropriate for the playing staff they have.

I've just remembered the existence of their saviour Anthony Gordon, what's he doing now? Is he injured? Suspended? Doing a stretch for abstracting electricity?

Are we all agreed that we want Man City to pump Chelsea tonight. The more of the "Big 6" that can be removed from the Top 4 conversation, the better.

Obviously if you're daft enough to think we're in the title race, this will have you in a real fucking pickle, but for those of us still thinking logically, what do we say?

Surely Barry Trotter can't have long left, especially the way Chelsea are spending. He looks like a man they've plucked off the street and stuck in the dugout.

Should have stayed ar Brighton.

I hope not, although they're spunking money right left and centre at the moment

Aye but transfer fees are different, you can expense those over the duration of the player's contract. I think managerial pay offs (and all the coaching team) have to be taken in one big hit. Given that they're bound to already be close to breaking FFP I'm not sure they can let Potter go.

Don't think they tend to pay managers all in one go. Keep paying monthly then negotiate if they get another job.

I seem to remember us paying 4 managers at once at one point

A hammering for Chelsea please. Will do nicely to see them finish outside CL spots after the money they've spent.

Also Arteta and Arsenal can go screw themselves. City can continue to win titles till we displace them in a few years.
