thebrokendoll 10156 Posted September 8, 2024 Share Posted September 8, 2024 full members cup, anybody remember this? seem to recall it was invented to offset the loss of european competition after the dippers wreaked havoc at heysel, although it obviously wasn't their fault. anyway was pondering on what is the lowest attendance I can remember being in at sjp for a competitive game and it could well have been for a match against shrewsbury in this competition in '87. .com has it down as 7,787 and if I remember rightly it absolutely fucking lashed down, we fucked off before the end. I don't have any recollection of being at the game against wrexham which had a similar attendance but was abandoned. I was at a zenith data systems cup game against Oldham? in the benches as it was cheap and there was about 7000 at the game.
