World Cup 2022

Even worse that there was a foul on Saka that wasn't called at the start of the play where France scored.

Mark Bosnich saying that Pickford wasn't in a great position and should be devestated about being beat from that distance.

What does Southgate do now?

You have to say on balance England have had the better chances, Kane's one on one on particular. Pickford should have got a hand on their goal. In his defense it came through the defenders legs but that distance is where he's at his worst.

Aye Lee Dixon is trying to claim Pickford saw it late but that's bollocks. You can see he's got eyes on it all the way but he's not good enough to save it.

Got to say I’m not unduly worried yet.

We’ve not shat the bed, and if when we need to, we’ve got great options on the bench.

If we can get an equaliser, I can see France getting nervous here.

Aye, now that Brazil are out, we’ve got the bench full of absolute mad dogs that no other has. If it’s still 0-1 at 68 minutes, can see us making some changes that might put the shits up them

You can tell by his reaction that he knows he should have saved it too, carrying on like there was some sort of transgression that impacted his ability to save it.

He has mostly performed well for England in the big tournaments, but you have to wonder whether Pope would have been playing if he hadn't had a bit of a mare in the game he started in the lead up. Pope 100% saves that.

Sadly, Pope got his chance when Pickford was fucked and fluffed his lines. That ship has sailed
