A lot of flu and cold going around.  18 riders at a cycle race didn't start one day mid-week.  They're also playing a shit load recently with little rest and weakend immune systems from 2 years of bubbles etc wont help.

Only thing I could think of was that Howe has seen enough in training to see a player who will do a good enough job (when asked), with an overall much better team around him.

 

He’ll do as a squad player for a year while we spend of other areas of the pitch. He’ll then also have some value when the jan 23 or summer 23 window comes along?
