This kid is the next Declan Rice.

Not in that he's going to be worth £100m but in that if he's half decent at all he's going to dump us and declare for England.

and have a munter for a bird?

I see West Ham are interested in Fullkrug off Dortmund. He'd be perfect as a different option to Isak if he's thinking of leaving Germany. At 31 he'll either be OK about probably being second choice, or he might insist that he's first choice. West Ham might offer him silly wages though, and with it likely being his last big contact he'd likely go where the money is.

Fucking LOVE a proper peri-peri.

The local bar in Carvoeiro was called Smiler's and Ruth Madoc had a house in town so was a regular in there. This was 1986 so she'd have been near the PEAK of her powers at the time.

Used to go there for toasties. Think it was the only place in Portugal with a Breville.

It must be a South Shields/Boldon thing, first CT with Denise Squelch, now gemmill with Ruth Madoc. I'm just waiting for the next person from south of the Tyne to pipe up about having the hots for Su Pollard, tbh.

Most likely a load of shite, but a Spanish paper is saying that we've bid close to 70m for Guler off Madrid. There's almost too many things to mention that would point to this being made up. The first being why would Madrid sell one of the most exciting young attacking mids/RW's in the world, why would the kid leave Madrid to join a club that's currently not even in Europe etc. The only thing that would make it slightly more likely is if Madrid have told him he's still behind Vinicous, Mbappe, Bellingham, and Rodrigo in the front three pecking order for the new season, which is admittedly likely. Maybe he was already disillusioned before Mbappe was signed, despite his decent run at the end of last season. It would be fantasy football in terms of picks for our RW slot if this is even remotely true.

And yet you’d cleave your cock in twain just to shag both her holes at once.

Madrid bought him for €20m just last year, so it would be a huge sale for their balance sheet at nearly four times that amount. We were supposedly interested in him when he was at Fenerbahce. He only played in 11 games for RM last season (Joselu played in 40+) so given their options they may determine that selling him makes sense. £80m on an extremely promising 19 year old with such a pedigree in the scheme of things is not bad. Make that a 6 year contract and sell in 5 years for a profit, or extend the contract early if he's a great fit.

We are one of the few teams in the top half of the table who haven't strengthened their first XI yet. Hopefully the delay is because we have an impressive RW or CF on the radar

Who have they signed you'd have wanted?

Fullkrug is a very decent signing for West Ham if the money isn't too ridiculous for a 31 year old. As I was saying the other day he'd have been perfect as a classic centre forward alternative to Isak. Summerville I know less about, but his numbers in the championship were very impressive. The question of course is how much are those numbers going to decrease when making the step up to the PL.
