Its gaining traction everywhere. Hard to believe he wants to go back to that city with how the everton "fans" were making his life outside football absolute hell, it would be even worse for him if he joined Liverpool.

He's nowhere near 100 mil though, should sell him instantly for that money and could make major moves in the summer.  😎

Think of the FFP profit and how many signings we could make 😎

Think of the headlines/non-NUFC pundits trying to sell our players to make their ex-clubs better? Isak is off to arsenal so I'm hearing from ex-arsenal players or fans like Darren Bent or people like Henry Winter, Lineker, (more on the wind up to Shearer TBF) touting him to Chelsea now people are hearing about apparent interest from Liverpool for Gordon? I'd be surprised if nobody was interested in Gordon, Isak or Bruno for the reason they're quality players and not only would it strengthen them it would also make us weaker and be one less team to worry about. Selling your best players even for a good wedge doesn't usually work out for the best and trust me, a lot of us on here can vouch for that!

8th to 20th and relegation. It was forced on them but they didn't want to leave because the weather was better elsewhere. To be fair to Liverpool of old and Ferguson, they knew when to sell but were in a position of strength to do so. We're not in as as big a position of strength of those clubs then but we're also not the NUFC of 1988 let one Mike Ashley's NUFC.

Chelsea are apparently selling even more property back to themselves and it's perfectly within the rules. Let's keep Isak, Bruno and Gordon and just sell ourselves our own stadium and training ground

We don’t own the stadium tbf so that would be a canny bit of accounting trickery

We own the stadium. Just not the ground it's built on.

I thought we just rented it rather than a leasehold. Saudis should just buy the entire city centre gift us the land and then we can sell the lot back to ourselves.

He is a spectacular goalkeeper. But he doesn't make sense seeing the performance Pope has given us.

He makes sense given that Pope is almost a decade older, and has fucked his shoulder twice in the past. As good as Pope has been, we should always look at improving IMO and depth in goal is definitely one of the places we could do with being better - with Dubravka and Karius both likely off.

Just watched some YouTube clips. I’m not sure his footwork is upto much and he parries a lot back in to the centre of the goal. He seems like he is quite imposing and blocks well.

That’s just from YouTube so no idea if that’s accurate. He has lots of time to improve as well.
