I think it’s unlikely they’d have been as critical of a male ex-pro pundit. Even one who basically makes a living out of spouting absolute fucking shite (a la Merson). All gone a bit quiet on the rumours front. Hopefully that's a good sign.

 

I think we were all in agreement that our squad isn't strong enough to compete in 4 competitions next season. It's slightly disconcerting that we are talking about £20mil bids for a young RB when we already have 4 of them in the squad and we have more pressing areas on the pitch to strengthen (CB cover, CF cover, LB, RW).

 

I'll trust the process though! Still plenty of time left in the window

Going to be interesting to see what the club has planned but aye if we dont cover those position we're asking for trouble. Other top 4 contenders strengthening and spending big, not going to be an easy season.
