Some of the Italian publications are saying there's no truth to the Barella stuff, that he's on international duty, and he doesn't plan on leaving Inter. Then again, Italian football mags are about as trustworthy as Bill Cosby holding your drink.

 Aye remember the way they went on during the Botman transfer.

As much as Edwards is a nob and reports a lot of shite in terms of links he rarely reports bids being submitted, the last being Botman? So maybe there’s something in it.

Ah that's a bit of a disappointment for a moment it seemed like we'd pulled another Isak style stealth deal out of nowhere. But aye we'll lap it up after the McTominay, Maguire and Walker-Peters links

I wouldn’t take what Romano says as entirely accurate tbh.

Barella and Mad Dog seen leaving the Strawberry this evening. Mad dog is confident he is going to sign and was telling him all about Willockinho and former club legends such as Perchino.

Maddison has admitted that he is scared of Mad Dog and likely won't sign.

Heard it here first lads!

Man United reported to be out of the chase for Kane. Levy is no doubt demanding crazy money.

Apparently it was the cost of dribble bibs that put Ten Nonce off.

Apparently Arsenal bid for Rice rejected.

COME ON EDDIE!!!!

80m plus 10m add ons rejected  - i don't think we're shopping in that market yet, are we?

man city apparently also in the mix but, according to my west ham mate, rice apparently wants to stay in surrey where he lives with his family in some massive custom-built mansion

Kane's dad is from Galway as well. Can you imagine Kane, Grealish, Bellingham, and Rice playing alongside Hendrick 😂 Mind you that lot along with Ferguson would make a very decent, to put it mildly, half a team at least.

 Backtracking. If it’s related to FFP there’s no such thing as “1st team budget”, and there’s no way the Saudis would only allow a budget of £75m

The Italian footy mags are saying that 70m is the price for even sitting down to negotiate for Barella. In fairness 50m was never going to work for a player who's rated so highly in the current market. We could perhaps put in some performance related bonus's, percentage of sell on fee etc. Of course it should also be remembered that Inter are skint, and may accept a lower offer than they normally would. On the more pessimistic side it's very likely that some of the other top clubs are waiting for a fee that Inter find acceptable to be established before they try and swoop in themselves.
