Chelsea are definitely suspicious. Haven't looked at their accounts or anything but just going by the amounts they've been spending there's got to be something fishy going on there. You'd think their books would have been scrutinized in detail and assessed for FFP risk during the recent takeover though.

And they're still supposedly in for Enzo Fernandez for around a 100M.

Chelsea will never learn. Crooked arseholes

Great opportunity for him too

got to be better option for his development at this stage because he’s barely had any chances here

You have to remember with Kuol that he's only ever started a couple of league games.  We'd all love to see him tearing up the championship or eredvise but the reality is playing regular pub football along with some compatriots is probably a good move all round at this stage.  And you'd expect Hearts to be a better run outfit than the usual loans we have at Jaggie Thistle.

I don't like this.

Don't rate the Scottish leagues at all, and loans to Scotland haven't worked out for us in the past.

The Scottish leagues are what they are but even recent (and much less common nowadays) evidence shows players can make the move from SPL to PL without too much fuss eg Tierney, McGinn, Fraser etc etc . He’s still very young, a lot will depend on the quality of coaching at Hearts. Neilson appears to be at least competent, they’re heading for their 2nd 3rd place finish in a row…

Edinburgh mackems on seethe watch evidently, seems they are on the brink of sportswashing concerns !!

That'll be the sister city alliance with the mackems ruined then. Another team turns out to have no class, that's them off the christmas card list. FTM

and 3 of his teammates from the Aussie WC squad are already there, one of them was in the CCM academy with him.

Dummett and S. Longstaff did okay. Probably a long list of failures though (M. Longstaff, The 5 that joined Rangers one season etc etc)

The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there. Literary pretentiousness aside though, I wouldn’t judge previous loans against current ones. We’re a far better run club these days. Ashworth will have done his homework.
