You just need the bow tie and pocket square. :wink2:

It's hilarious that you think I don't have several of those already

Come on Fish, you're better than that. Clearly I was alluding to you being a cunt.

yeah, strange one that

Seems amicable, I'd imagine he wants to actually play in the final years of his career. He was always one of the best for us when he played.

That’s what I mean. Seems strange how quickly his star fell. I would have put him first choice ahead of Schar, Lascelles, Clark etc before the takeover.

Quote

At the end of last season, senior sources said Newcastle anticipated spending around £60-80million this summer — “It’s not going to be massive,” one said, requesting anonymity — which was emblematic of their organic pathway towards improvement. In the end, that figure was blown out of the water; an £118million net outlay is one of the highest across Europe. It was not a bluff. “Financial fair play is still a concern,” the same source says. “It just means that commercially, we’re going to have to work twice as hard.”

Howe's being reported as saying other PL clubs are taking the piss out of us in the transfer market, making it difficult for us to take their players etc. He keeps his counsel on anything remotely controversial so I'm assuming there's some truth to it.

I'm sure other clubs are making the actual transfers more difficult than they need to be, and not doing us favours in terms of loans, but in terms of transfer fees it's hard to be believe we are getting any more ripped off than Chelsea and Man U.

Man utd have had their sphincter ripped open, chewed on and spat out by Ajax over Antony. The Fofana deal for Chelsea also seems ludicrous.

Hopefully when Rodgers gets sacked and there's a mass exodus we can get him for a more reasonable fee.

We are only an Almiron and Willock replacement away from being a match for anyone.

Does the evidence of Howe’s tenure including the first month of this season not suggest we are a match for anyone? What you’re correctly suggesting is that we need better squad depth. We’re not going to wipe out 14 years of neglect in two windows. Some people are having difficulty accepting that though….
