I have nothing but utter disdain for those cockmunchers who go on like "OMFG we're going to be the best team in f'king Europe inside 3 years" but soundbites like that REALLY enthuse me to want us to better Barcelona and Real Madrid. Then let the little fuckwit turn up at SJP and realise what he didn't want to be a part of.

From this point onwards it's time to not give this an ounce of further mental energy. Very much his loss.

I'd imagine one of the big problems with buying young up and coming players from abroad, is that there's most likely quite little reliable info on their temperaments. Someone like Ashworth would have the inside track on most English players of all ages, but unless you have a foreign scout who's deeply imbedded in the country you're buying from it's probably tough.

Is very important that in this years..

In France, journalist informed Atletico was a agreement with Kamara (Marseille), but when the Atletico DoF was to see Kamara to his house to sign the contract, the player was 'in bad condition' (in terms of clothes) and with a lot of friends in his house that was chill and smoking.... And Atletico decided to break the agreement because this behaviour.

Fair play on us for giving it a go. No shame on losing out to the likes of Barca for a player of his quality.

Wonder if Barca have even heard of Ekitike?

ReadyToGroom reckons Craig Hope is being paid by the Saudis and is doing a character assassination on Ekitike because he turned us down.

Ekitike turned us down because he’s a MLF, he’s just waiting the next takeover when there will be billions to spend, my mate met him on holiday and reckons he thinks theyre bigger than Barca, FTM six in a row

Seeing Ghodoussi and Ashworth pictured with new players is, unsurprisingly, a lot more reassuring and professional looking than having Penfold and the Hamburgler McBacontits hanging off them.

 Well of course. Alan Parry can't be expected to commentate on fifty thousand screaming jawdees and do written journalism as well, can he? Hope obviously doing his bit in magedia world.

Looks like Ziyech is off to AC. He would have been a decent back up to someone like Diaby if he proves too expensive. I did read, don't know how true it is, that Chelsea were open to an initial loan with an obligation to buy for around 20m, so that would have been a decent deal given the restrictions of FFP. The only downside to Ziyech is that he turned 29 last March and we're trying to bring the squad age down. I know he didn't really do it for Chelsea, but Tuchel had him in and out of the side and he does look a player when he's on song. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but I believe that if he got a consistent run in the PL he could come somewhere close to matching his Eredivisie numbers.

Also, how convenient that after we ended our interest due to being stuffed about by his agent that he comes out publically declaring he wants to stay at the club.

Trying to make it look like he turned us down. Good luck with that given the club was only too willing to sell you.

He's also a little diving prick. We don't currently have anyone who is particularly good at doing that effectively. Sorry Maxi, I know you try.
