Just one Cordeo.....give eeeet to meeeeee

Have you seen this Gino D'Acampo business?

I'm sure he's said some shocking stuff, but one of the quotes is "If you don't get me a Cornetto, I'll fuck your girlfriend". :lol:

As if Kane would swap Bayern for Arsenal, not to mention that he's finished and would quickly get found out again in a team like Arsenal where his side wouldn't enjoy total domination of 90% of matches. I'm sure he'd be good for scoring penalties against Southampton though.

They'll end up with Kluivert or someone of that quality.

Kluivert is another winger. so I hope they do go for him and still end up with zero out and out strikers and no money :lol:

Considering what Arsenal have spent in Arteta's time here they can't be in a great PSR situation. That clip with Scholes and Carragher on Isak that is doing the rounds right now, Scholes got one thing right. Isak is more Real Madrid territory now than Arsenal. Watkins sounds about right for them.

That’s nothing. Wyki hears that every morning before work.

So, who's going next season?

Players out of contract;

Dubs

Ruddy
Gillespie
Schar
Lascelles
Krafth
Wilson

Out of them I would probably renew Schar, Dubs & Krafth for another 12 months as bench / squad players

I would the rest go and also sell;

Targett
Lewis
Trippier
Longstaff
hayden (yes, he's still about!)

That would be 8 players out, 9 including Kelly.  That would be a canny lot of shite of the squad.  I would even look at getting shut of Barnes if we could get better squad player for the left to cover for Gordan.

Agree with most but Ruddy will stay, he’s a training goalkeeper on (relatively) small wages. See Scott Carson at city for example.

Dubs should leave and Trafford/another goalkeeper to come in to replace/push Pope.

Would also keep Longstaff, he’s gets a lot of stick but to replace him would cost more than we could get for him. Plus homegrown at club.

Agree with that, wouldn't be surprised if we kept Targett and Lascelles from that list as well. even if they never play you need a squad.

If you let Targett go for example what do you do for backup for Hall? You'll be hard pressed to find another experienced pro at targetts level for less money imo. He's had some terrible luck with his fitness but hes a capable premier league player when hes fit.

If someone is ready to pay 25M odd for Willock should it be considered?

I like him and he was brilliant two seasons ago, not to mention saving our arses with his goals when he first got here. But he seems absolutely all over the place since the injuries and you have to wonder if he can get back to his best.

he's been frustrating because we've seen how good he can be. on this season's form, he looks like a better option playing on the flanks, or higher up the pitch, than he does as one of the central midfield three. i wouldn't get rid just yet but it's been a difficult couple of seasons for him.

I really like Willock but if someone like Palace, Fulham, Everton came in with £20-25m then I'd bite. I'd have Miley as 4th midfielder now for us, we could surely find a young prospect for less or a Bosman. Think we need to start doing this more with the players just outside the normal first XI just until the PSR situation improves.
