Trafford saved two mackem pens last night. Sign the cunt now! He's already a legend.

No way they let him leave and jeopardise auto promotion. And then if they do come up they'll demand a huge fee.

Our best bet is that Burnley don’t go up in the Summer.

Not likely with that beast between the sticks.

Bad move to sell IMO

Dunno. Krafth is fit again and has looked no worse than Kelly when he's played CB.

We've spent years pleading PSR poverty and haven't signed a player for the first XI in 3 or 4 windows. I'd rather have £20-25m in the bank to upgrade one position properly than have Almiron and Kelly warming the bench for the next 20 games

Would be a good move in regards to PSR issues though and maybe enable us to go for a player in positions we need to strengthen first.

@ewerk could maybe tell us.  What bearing would this have on PSR if we keep now and sell in Summer?  Where we (IMO) well have a better chance of signing someone and better.

So you would rather have £20m in the bank and weaken a key area in CB and then buy someone in summer?

Calculated risk but letting Almiron and Kelly go this month and being able to properly operate in the market in Summer is one I'd take.

Yes we'd be technically weaker without them but they've got less than 900 mins for us put together this season, we can cover that loss imo but they don't get more valuable in summer by virtue of having less contract time and playing so little.

Id certainly sell Miggy.  Kelly, not in this window.

The spitfire shaggers surely know they are already down, so we may as well throw them an offering for Dibling now.

I wonder what the chances are if Spurs stay shit, if we could get Kulusevski for the RW role in the summer?

Perfect opportunity for Levy to make some of the ridiculous amount we got from them for Sisoko back, so no thanks.

Chelsea will be having a fire sale, so better value to be had there.

And if Kelly isn't even trusted to be used as a sub against his old club, may as well move him on now.

January is a tough time to buy but a great time to sell. Kelly isn’t getting game time with us which is making other sides think they can get him for a ‘reasonable’ price. We make a quick buck and a profit PSR wise on a payer who isn’t getting a game for us. Everyone is happy apart from Gemmill’s.
