Especially since Palace dicked us around to the point we wasted all our time and missed out on other targets. Plus won't Guehi's stock have fallen considerably (haven't seen any Palace games though)? In January I think we will be targetting a permanent right winger, and a striker on loan with option to buy. That's based on nothing at all, so basically pulled out of my arse like this Guehi rumour. I recall Mitchell saying something like we need to be looking at Europe for better value so it'll be interesting to see if Howe or Mitchell prevail. On the face of it I'd say replacing Schar was more of a summer project but I suppose if Guehi was highly coveted as a long term replacement then they might prioritise him.
