Maybe it’s time for another public bid to pretend we are buying someone.

We fucked them off? Yeah i dont know about that..

We walked away after they shifted the goal posts. I'd say we definitely told them to get fucked.

there's not gonna be any ear splitting SLAM for us tonight is there?

can't even see an uninspiring ker-lunk.

just a pathetic pffft.

The Ronnie Gill is so certain of our transfer activity today that on it's live feed it's actively posting about players we were linked with ages ago now being linked to other clubs

I don't think there's gonna be many football supporters up and down the country thinking newcastle have won this little spat mate.

Love speedway, 100th anniversary this year, fucking hate the rapey cunts that are rugby league players. Australia's obsession with shite egg chaser games calling themselves football does my head in. Sorry @PaddockLad

If football in this country had a fraction of the funds league, union and aerial ping pong get from Murdoch and the other tory supporting cunts our national team might be able to kick a ball.

Here’s a fella I’ve shared a pint with once or twice… just your common or garden world champ…

The outgoings this window have been as farcical as the incomings.

The sales we needed to make to not breach PSR?

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on Marc Guehi: "I can confirm [he will remain a Palace player]. It was never really in doubt. Congrats to Crystal Palace, to the chairman, to the owners that they didn't give in especially after the transfer of Joachim Andersen it was very important that Marc stays.

"Congrats" to the club and owners? Smallest of small-time thinking.

This has been done over and over again though. They have a contract and its not their fault is it?

I see Howe shot down, Hope's was it?, nonsense about him being fixated on Guehi and therefore not allowing Mitchell to sign an alternative once negotiations broke down with Palace. According to Howe we've tried to sign several alternatives.

It's PSR PROFIT that we have to make on players. You can't make that on has beens and never weres.

That's the fault of the rules, not the people running the club.

People can spin it any way they want, but having Burn, Kelly, Krafth and Lascelles as backup CBs, whilst Botman is the only real upgrade we've signed in that department since Schar (12 transfer windows ago!) is not befitting of a team supposedly wanting to challenge for the title.

The fans keep their end of the bargain. Spend their money on tickets, pointless memberships, £80 a pop for 3 new shirts, a new clothing range launched on a monthly basis, pre season friendlies at the opposite end of the planet.

We are entitled to be pissed off when the likes of Brighton and West Ham pump

investment into their squads and we are left speculating about a 6th GK in the closing hours of the window.

Scroll back to the start of this thread. There was near universal agreement that we needed long term replacements/competition for Wilson, Schar and Pope. A decent GK, RW and CF would have been a good window. We've ended up with none of them.
