With Southampton's relegation, I think it could be a good opportunity to sign a player from that team who doesn't want to play in the Championship.

-Ward Prowse. I think he could be a good bench player. He has a similar level to Longstaff and can give us something more when Bruno is out.

-Romeo Lavia. He is definitely my favorite player on this team. His first lap was sensational and he is only 19 years old.

-Livramento. He can be a good understudy for Trippier and our future right-back. He is only 20 years old.

-Salisu. Maybe he is confusing me. I admit that I didn't like it at all when he played in Spain, but his level in the Premier League has surprised me.

Gundogan out of contract in the summer, I know there will be a ton of clubs after him and we'd have very little chance, but what a player to be able to sign for free if City dont manage to extend his contract. KDB and Silva in that side often overshadow him, he's very underrated imo.

One of my favorite players.

But I think it is impossible.

In my opinion, I think he will go to Barcelona or stay at Man City.

I think it will take a long time because his intention is to go to Barcelona, but Barcelona currently has no money to register the player (in fact, they can't even make a first-team contract for Gavi, who still has a youth team registration).

Barcelona needs to sell a lot of players and if they don't get it, surely Gundogan will stay in Manchester.

This kid sounds like the real deal.

Younger than Maddison, higher potential ceiling?

I have really seen him play very little. I think he is a very elegant player and that he stands out a lot when he plays well, but lacks regularity.

But I like his player profile. I think he could fit in very well.

Where have you got those numbers from?!

8 and 10 for his club this season.

Fake news: I misread Ryder’s article. That’s his total Bundesliga record

But Szoboszlai's record is very good in Germany with 18 goals and 22 assists from midfield in the Bundesliga

Ward prowse doesn’t have the engine, strength or technique of any of our 3 in the middle. His free kicks and pens are excellent but we’d lose something if we stuck him in the first team. Agree with the others. Labuan is a big prospect, but a bit raw.

Granted JWP lacks for strength and power, but I thought I saw a stat showing that he covered amongst the most kms/p match of any player in the PL. If not the most. I also don't doubt his technique either as he's one of the best technical players going around when it comes to finding a pass, cross or shot. Granted he lacks in dribbling and he's only an average tackler compared to others in his position. I too thought JWP wasn't worth the gamble but I saw an article the other week pointing out his strengths and I've kinda been won over to thinking he might be worth it for the right price. If we could get him for between 10-15m, then I think that would be good business to add another set of legs in midfield that run all day, with the added benefit of some good technical abilities and set piece prowess that is unmatched. I think it's become a little bit fashionable to hate on him as a one trick pony type of player who has found his level at the bottom end of the PL. But I think that may well be a matter of his reality being confused with his potential. I'd like to see us at least test Southampton's resolve to keep him if we low-ball them, knowing that the player is likely never going to get a better chance to leave and will certainly be onboard and agitating to be allowed to do so.

I have seen him play quite a bit over quite a few years. He has always been held in high regard for his attacking spark and more recently his game has become very well rounded though he's still primarily about the attack. He's fast with the ball and has quick feet and a great decisive footballing head. I've already declared my excitement over this, and I'm truly hopeful on this because unlike other names that have been mentioned his wages won't be a problem and will fit into our (evolving) structure.

I could see us perhaps not going for a LW. At least not a specialist in that position, but agreed a LB has to be among the priorities, especially an attack minded LB to balance against Burn and Targett who are both more defensively minded.
