Burn was excellent, marshalled the back line along with Schar. Thought Joelinton and Shelvey were superb first half, legs started going though and bookings took the potency away from them. Willock again looked better, Wood got himself in the game much more than he had done too. Another dogged performance and a tremendous 3 points. Over the moon!

The commentators here were saying similar about Gerrard. I guess in his pre match conference there was a lot of talk about how he must love going to Newcastle as it’s always a good result for him, when in reality he only lost more games away to Chelsea and Manchester United than us. He looks pretty solid. He's a unit but is pretty mobile aswell.
