there was a countdown for an hour and a half instead of the usual hour for the fulham game. no countdown at all for the arsenal game, just a captcha code to fill in the you got a notice queues were paused.

at 12 I had a best place of 39,000. said there was 80 people in front of me, my little stick never moved till nearly 1pm, when I got on there was fuck all left, kept refreshing and eventually got 2 in the basket for the east stand the 2nd just within the 20 minutes before I lost the 1st one out the basket.

fuck knows why they didn't run them on separate days.... either them, their system, or a combination of both aren't capable.

It was a pain in the arse anyway with membership money spent for fuck all, now it seems to be an almighty pain in the arse, if they're trying to put people off for potential tourist coin they're doing a superb job. I didn't even bother with the membership this year and so far I haven't exactly been shown this was a bad move.

Club ticketing system is shite, but they manage to sell all the tickets. People who didn't get tickets complain.

 

Upgrade system and they'll sell all the tickets but in a "better for the user" way. People who didn't get tickets complain.

 

Second option costs money, if I'm the club I'm saying fuck that.

If that happens and demand starts dropping off, that’s when they’ll look to make a change, that’ll also be way before they stop selling out, and as long as the team’s doing well “not selling out” is highly unlikely.

 

Admittedly being a bit devil’s advocate here but complaints won’t do much.

 

I have a complaint, it was a nightmare to use the ticketing system.

 

Did you get a ticket in the end yes or no:

 

Yes - So What’s the problem, if we had a super slick system lots of people who couldn’t be arsed to persist with the old system might then get a ticket and you won’t.

 

No - lots of people didn’t get a ticket and even if we had a one click super system, lots of people still won’t get a ticket.

 

At the end of the day people just want to get a ticket with nee hassle, there’s not a system in the world that’ll deliver that (apart from a ST), because demand hugely outstrips supply so there’ll be lots of disappointment to go round no matter what’s in place.
