If that's what theyre going to do why bother having any ranking at all. oh! why's that then? seems like quite a good idea to me for the club to appreciate some people's circumstances have changed over the years. and what do you mean by ranking? as in like a hierarchy of who's the bestest newcastle supporter in the world ever? Renton 21984
This is a fucking joke like. So apparently NOBODY was in tier 2 as you needed 25 loyalty points to by a CC away ticket, but I digress. Looks like I am not elligible to enter the ballot, because I was elligble to buy a ticket as tier 1. But using that option I couldn't buy one on my linked account which is tier 4, so its a single ticket or nothing which I don't want. And anyway, that option is closed now. But I can't join the ballot on the linked ticket either I don't think, as it is for a minor that does not have an account. Catch 22. Grossly unfair and will be affecting thousands of people with young children I would think, they've made it literally impossible to attend this match unless the kid had 25 loyalty points (pretty unlikely). I wanted to query this in the box office yesterday but the queue was too long, wish I had waited in it now as I'm not in Newcastle today. I expect to be on hold for the entire day.

Fucking NUFC trust advised them so they can share the blame and you can tell they don't consider others who aren't in the same boat as themselves, I'm a (paid) member who has been to every home league game bar Everton and Leeds, there is no category for me but there is for the general public who has been to one cup game. It's unlikely they'll get one but it's not the point. I probably won't be bothering with the membership next season as it'll be a waste of nearly £80 considering I'll be out of a job part way through next season and the bairn will be 18 thus closing off the family section in L7 of the Milburn as an option and restricting the chances of us getting two seats together. (That's assuming they don't reduce the size of the family section which was the biggest in the league as fatty was desperate to get more in). I'm starting to get pissed off now and the similarities between now and promotion under KK are pretty similar except instead of being a bitter young man I'll be a bitter old man.

It is hard to get a fair system but this is shambolic like. Honestly, sucked all the enjoyment out of what should be a joyous occasion for us. And this is before you factor in the transport/hotel chaos. Mrs Rents is more keen on this than me and is going to head in to Newcastle in person now, good luck to her, I can't be arsed at this stage. Our 10 year deal is also up this year so I dread to think what ST prices are going to be next year as well.

I'm still foaming I was barred from even applying for a chance of STs by not having any purchase history after 2017*, (I've been going to games for 40 fucking years including having STs when they became fashionable/a must for areas other than the East stand and Milburn/West Stand) yet someone who theoretically paid for one fucking game after 2017 or who took the FREE half ST fatty tried to bribe fans with could join the queue and hope to get a good random place in it). *Actually penalised for refusing to pay a NUFC owned Ashley any money in an attempt to help him decide to sell to new owners? I'm not knocking anyone who has less away points than me, or more than me, I'm not and have never knocked anyone who made the decision to ditch their ticket under the previous owner and I am not knocking young people who simply haven't had the opportunity to grow a history. Everyone has their own circumstance and I've been fortunate enough to have had a dad who took me to the match as soon as I would go (he'd have taken me earlier if I'd shown any interest) and buy me a season ticket at a time when not many people bothered with them. Not everyone is so fortunate and it doesn't make them less of a supporter. My only issue was that it's a joke to decide on an allocation system and then not follow it. Allowing the potential for people in a lower section to just get lucky ahead of other who had qualified for an earlier section. If you are going to do that, you may as well just make it an open ballot for all of the sections. They do seem to have missed a gaping hole in their process with the situation Renton is in. I can understand them saying that if you have a child who's in section 4 or lower that you can't bring them forward to a pre ballot section, as that has the potential to be abused. But to not allow it in the reverse is horrendous planning.

You won't be the only one in this position (which is a bollocks position btw) and if you can get someone to listen you might see something change next time around or when they come to next sell STs or something.

It would sort out your parking. I've got one on standby at Uxbridge which is directly on the metropolitan line from Wembley I think. I expect there is fuck all to do there like and isn't that Johnson's constituency too? Anyway, probably not needed now.

But to not allow it in the reverse is horrendous planning. below is taken apparently from the latest email from n.u.s.t. (aka alex hugh magill hurst) to their members. although I'm reluctant to give much credence to anything the fat tory cunt has to say. however if it is true then the club have indeed built in an allocation for each ballot period. so they would be following the system decided upon from the outset. bearing in mind there's supporters currently living in lowly p6 and p7 for a whole myriad of reasons but whose support for decades is unquestionable and therefore as I said above warrant at least a chance. rather than it being bollocks, I'm sure you'll appreciate that now? With this in mind the Board has spoken to Newcastle United and we are pleased to report that the club have provided answers to questions raised by members on ticketing. Member Question: For Wembley, is there any chance tickets will actually go down to periods 4,5 and 6? Or are they only periods that will take place if tickets don’t sell out in each previous tier? Answer from NUFC: Each period is guaranteed to take place. Trust analysis: The club is seeking to ensuring some members and non-members (with purchase history) will receive tickets in their attempt to ensure a range of fans have access to Wembley. The vast majority of tickets will go to season ticket holders. Periods 4-6 seem to be ballots so not every qualifying applicant will receive tickets, unlike in periods 1-3 where tickets are guaranteed if you qualify and purchase through the cub site in your allocated period time slot.

No I don't it's stupid. Why not just put everyone into a ballot from period 4 down if that's the case. It seems more unfair to me to rank someone higher but then for them to lose out because they didn't have enough tickets for that period to satisfy demand. And you can fuck off with your little lowly dig.
