I celebrated like mad as we were scored two goals and won without conceding. The complete and utter apathy from the home fans probably saved a slightly drunk me from a hiding as there were empty seats all over that section, the crowd was only 25,000 and a good few thousand of those were in the sold out away end hence me being where I was. I wasn't chased down the street nor even out of the ground but it obviously never happened whenever I've mentioned this to a younger Everton fan.

Kid Dynamite 7012
I've sat in the home end at Bolton, Sunderland and Wigan iirc. The Sunderland game was where Kieran Richardson scored a screamer. Never again. I think the bloke in that interview nails the bit about the flawed ballot though. The club can get fucked if it thinks I'm paying £37 to chuck my name in a hat when they refuse to say how big the hat is or how many names are in it. (Probably because they know half of the members would then cancel)

I've never been so pleased to see the police in all me life! got an escort round the side of the pitch to the away end and a proper ear bashing of brian clough, never clipped any of us mind, think he saved the slaps for his own supporters! 1
Gemmill 44569
I've sat in the home end at Bolton. If owt had kicked off I'm confident I could have lost them in the aisles of Boots or Home Bargains next door to their shite retail park situated ground. thebrokendoll 9156
as a bit if an aside to the tale above in nottingham, the game ended 1-1 and the replay was arranged for a few days later, not sure why it happened so quickly because I don't recall that being the norm at the time? anyway, we lost 3-1 after extra time, however the most memorable th8ng about that particular game for anybody there was the snowball fight between the corner and the scoreboard, fucking epic!

Even though I had nowt to crow about I was sussed out rather swiftly and must admit I did leave early(ish) . Always uncomfortable being in with the opposing fans. thebrokendoll 9156 Posted Monday at 13:23 Author Share Posted Monday at 13:23 ballots opened for both the leicester and brentford cup game at 12 today, both close at 12 tomorrow. no idea why they've changed from a 2 day window to only 24 hours? doesn't seem to achieve anything other than increasing the possibility you miss a ballot altogether, not that I ever win one anyway mind! Dazzler 9596 Posted Monday at 13:48 Share Posted Monday at 13:48 I'm in the ballot for both games for me and the bairn. I look forward to the club taking both fists and going to town on my ball bag and pride - It'll make me so happy to lose out to a PR stunt from the US and to watch his travel vlog from JFK to SJP via ponteland airport while he butchers the players names and the classic chants. Thank you Newcastle United.

RobElliott 1484 Posted Wednesday at 15:17 Share Posted Wednesday at 15:17 When i went on to sign in for the ballot I was in queue number 55,000 so who knows how many end up applying, and for how many seats?

Aye, it's fucking mental. Bloke at work has entered 5 times so far and got in 3 times, he can't work out why he's in and I'm not but I am guessing it's because he's only going for the one seat so can get in any of the odd seats left over and I'm after two together every time.
