If that's the case whoever we get will be elite to say that least. The man who took Salah from Basel, or the man who signed him from Roma. Seems like Emenalo has the edge for that particular find. He's already announced he's leaving Liverpool at the end of the season to take on new challenges. Anyone who thinks it would be an underwhelming appointment: a lot of Liverpool fans think FSG don't spend enough yet this cunt has facilitated the signing of Alisson, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Mane, Salah etc. Getting him in and giving him a blank chequebook might not be the worst of ideas. I'd be more than happy with Emenalo.
