🤣 They really are the Scouse mackems.

That has to be a Liverpool fan on the wind up, surely?

Lampard being inexperienced and a bit shit is one thing, but for an Everton fan (with all their expectations) to want Steve Bruce? I call bullshit.

It's not the best Scouse accent in the world, I wouldn't put it past it being one of ours.

Little Everton stat attack for you here lads:

At this point in the season, they have...

Most defeats in any season in their history, at 15.

Fewest points in any season in their history, at 22.

Most goals conceded since the 1976-77 season at 46.

On track for their lowest EVER points per game at 0.88 - the closest they've ever come to that is 1.03.

The ghost of Roy Castle is getting ready for an open top bus parade at the end of the season.

Imagine what they'll be like when they drop into the relegation zone. We don't have to worry about Watford and Norwich anymore, but Everton do.

There's a clip on YouTube from Sky Sports where I nicked those stats above from, and it's Carragher talking about Everton saying their back 4 is Championship standard, and they're physically weak all over the park and can't run. He also thinks Goodison will save them.

Only thing that might save them is 8 home games

I wouldn't say playing in front of those home fans is a plus, to be honest.

'Fun-time Frankie' pretty much said the same after the game didn't he? They've got Wolves and us, they'll be lucky to get a point from those games if you ask me.

Goodison is the atmosphere the media pretend SJP is when it’s going badly. They have to be one of the worst supported teams in the country

They have a 538 page thread on relegation

I like this post

"There's no silver linings to be had.
I'm beginning to think that people have no idea what demotion would do the club.
Catastrophic is probably the only way to describe it.
I for one cannot countenance the top tier of football without Everton being there."

Lampard can’t organize a defence, he had all the pieces at Chelsea and they conceded goals for fun. As you say now they have poor players in defence, it’s really not the type of manger they needed - it was a bizarre choice as he was always going to be a gamble.

They currently have Jonjoe Kenny, recently returned from loan at Celtic and is a workmanlike player, Nathan Patterson, recently bought from Rangers and is basically just a prospect, Mason Holgate,, Michael Keane, they bought the wrong Burnley CB, Yerry Mina, strong CB if a little hot headed and inconsistent, Mykolenko, new full back who Lampard doesn’t seem to rate, Ben Godfrey, Championship defender, Coleman, good player clearly in his twilight years (also how have they spent 500m and not brought in someone that genuinely competes with him?), Jarrad Braithwaite, another prospect. I know people say they have too much quality to go down but honestly looking at that defence they have hardly any talent there, Mina is good and Keane is serviceable but the latter is out of any sort of form. Layer in the above point that Lampard had a defence like Chelsea’s looking leaky as fuck and they’re in real fucking trouble.

What to Everton contribute exactly?

Someone else is going to have to step up and finish mid table. What will the Premier League do without their [placeholder since they have no identifiable way of playing] style of football?

Carragher actually says "if Everton get 1 point from those two games then I'll believe, for the first time in my life, that they're going down."

He reckons 4 they'll get 4 points, which given their current situation is very punchy. If he's right about them being physically weak, they're gonna hate meeting the new and even more improved since the last time they met him Joelinton.

4?!  So which one out of Wolves who, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea aside have the meanest defence in the division and us does he reckon that sackless bunch of cunts are going to beat?

I reckon they'll get ZERO points from both games. And I'm being generous!

Aye, I can’t see them beating us or Wolves tbh. We will possibly have Bruno and ASM starting, both desperate to get into a side which has been winning every fucking game (the latter who absolutely ripped them to bits last time).

They could draw those games but I don’t know how anyone could possibly predict Everton winning any fixture given their record. I said the same about us until we started looking good, no matter the opposition how can you predict a win for a team that have won 1 game under that manager? Let alone against one of the form sides in the league and the other is chasing Europe.

Everton MIGHT (and I emphasise the word 'might') beat Norwich or Watford. Aside from that I can't see them beating anyone the way they're playing.

They struggled to knock Boreham Wood out of the FA Cup FFS!
