It’s a fucking disgrace, of course we are used to incompetence but this off season has been an absurd level of neglect from the ownership. There’s no problem between the clubs, Arsenal & Newcastle, who have agreed a fee for the player, rising to £25m. Howay 12496 Posted August 11, 2021 Share Posted August 11, 2021 I read somewhere he wants similar pay with ASM and Jonjo, so £80k a week range, which for a 25m signing that’ll start every game and the club have effectively painted themselves into a corner and are fucking desperate for him it’s not a shocking demand. I can’t see us getting him now tbh, the reason it’s took this fucking long to get to this point is after Arsenal demanded 25m we’ve spent the summer trying to get them to budge before eventually folding, it’ll be a deadline day signing if it even happens.
