Most pundits are shit, few are any good. But you dig out a woman pundit specifically. Why is that?

You say it's because she hasn't played at an elite level, but there are a few ex-pros who haven't and plenty of journalists (who I doubt have played above school-level), so it can't be that. 

You say it's because she has a low IQ, but the majority of ex-pros are thick as shit, so it can't be that.

I'd say it's because there's a determination to get females on irrespective of the quality of their punditry. They're being picked because they're women. Women's football is a different sport. Let them be pundits on their own sport. I'd take similar exception if a male builder was recruited as a pundit too.
