A few more years of Steve Bruce and we'll be able to afford the club.

trooper 940
Its not just a case of getting Ashley 's asking price of £300/350 million together. There'll be money needed for training facilities. SJP needs doing up, new players will be needed. Not to mention the day to day running costs of the club. Its a nice idea, but I doubt anything will come of it except local charities will get a few quid.

It's having a pot of cash to invest in shares during a takeover, a rainy day fund if the club tumbles down the leagues and needs rescuing, or, at worst, a large donation to local charities. If people want to give their time and money to it that’s up to them but it isn’t some kind of achievement.

This is a fan group who're trying to get a scintilla of say in the way our club is run. They've laid out a simple win-win plan. Either we get a say in the way the club is run, or local charities get a much needed cash injection. What's the fucking problem?
Rayvin 5294
I think "hope" is probably the problem. Some people are too far gone. Understandably, tbh.

They may as well collect money to buy a share in the statue of liberty. Your scintilla of say isn’t on offer and never will be unless the premier league goes bust and we go back to the old ways of running a club. Owners don’t need fan representation, if anyone should know this it’s us. Not a realistic possibility imo
