Guest Sima
Get in there, Nobby. Those two goals were for the clueless idiots who said that you were finished. 100726[/snapback] He had been shite up until a few weeks ago tbh.
aimaad22 4222
very average first half performance to be honest, everton could have scored two or three goals. I was quite worried at the break but the second half was fantastic, quite unlike newcastle this season the second goal from nobby was an absolute beauty, took me breath away really and well done zoggy again, fanstastic run and cross to set up nobby for the first goal

The Mighty Hog 526
Just back from the match. First half wasn't much to write home about. Second half was better and can't wait to see Solano's second goal again on Match of the Day. Emre got a bit of grief for staying sat on his arse after not getting a decision his way, not sure if that was picked up by Sky.

Everton player clearly played the ball. His old Inter habits are yet to wear off completely it seems.

Anyway, going to matches is officially fun again. Amazing what a difference a manager can make like. Loved the Everton fans streaming out after Nobby's wonder goal. Fickle twats. LeazesMag 0
We are now 5 points from 6th. The team is playing like a "proper" team, or a team that is a good side, we don't have much pace, but they are moving the ball quickly, accurately, moving into space, helping team mates, showing for the ball, their heads are up, they are using the width of the pitch and keeping possession well. Ace. This is the way to play, we may lack a cutting edge, but Shearer and Owen are missing. There is absolutely no reason why we could not have played like this under Souness, which perfectly illustrates why he had to go.

Especially when they also urged him to "give him time". Shame Fred listened to them and not us....

wellsy 0
How good is N'Zogbia? The pace, the skill and the ability to go around defenders like they are just not there. Amazing runs all game by the Zoggy man. Emre just ran the show, was great and his passing ability is superb. Bowyer a really good game, just ran and created space and got forward to support Ameobi. Had 7 shots but only 2 on target but given most were difficult chances. One of his shots that went wide would of been one of the best moves if he got it on target and put it in the back of the net. Just runs and runs, more of the same please mate. Solano, he and Emre combined are amazing. To go with that he scored 2 good goals and i was hoping he would bang in a hattrick but it wasnt to come.
