Craig 6700
Dutch legend Ronald Koeman is reportedly set for talks with Newcastle over the managerial vacancy at St James' Park. The Benfica boss, who is preparing for Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Liverpool, could be set to meet Toon chairman Freddy Shepherd. It is being claimed that Koeman's agent has approached United - suggesting the former Holland international as a replacement for the recently sacked Graeme Souness. Newcastle appear to have made former Martin O'Neill their top target but it is not clear whether he is ready to return to football, having stepped down at Celtic last summer to care for his seriously ill wife Geraldine. Walliver 0
Should've been sent off for fouling Platt in the box - giving England a penalty and him not still being on the pitch to score later on in the game, to stop England going to the '94 World Cup tbh. Yes the Koeman incident was a contributing factor, but just because it was the final nail in the coffin, doesn't mean it should automatically become the sole reason why we didn't go!
