Smooth Operator 10
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/4700628.stm So I take it he was sacked after he was suspended?
Craig 6700
He was suspended on full pay the day Souness was sacked IIRC... Personally I read that as they don't trust him with the work he's doing but they don't think he's worthy of being paid compensation... Lower opinion than they have of Souness.........ouch! adios 717
Hadn't heard that, shocking article though. "The chairmen wait for a manager to get another job or say something which will breach their contract, meaning they don't have to pay them off. "We would like to see a system in place where every manager has to have a licence. "To get the licence, a manager would have to have a recognised coaching qualification. "If they were dismissed, they would be entitled to a standard settlement." It's breach of contract, fuck off.
Gemmill 46030
Presumably they're suspended on full pay. What's the problem then? Either find another job, or see out your contract doing nothing and getting paid for it.
