1. Shearer, one of if not the best CF ever to have graced the prem.

2. Ibrahima Sonko. Becoming a great player, down to earth, and signed an xmas card for me mam :D

3. Ginola. I remember crying when he was sold <_<:nufc:

Good to see Hunt scored though, he's been playing well of late. Won't displace Little or Convey anytime soon though but he's a good player. MIIIIKE as the guys next to me and myself shout. :D

Les Ferdinand is close to my list too. I'm also the only Newcastle fan in the world who liked Paul Kitson ;)

Sir Les is one of my favourite ever Toon players, even though he wasn't with us for long, legend !

I'm with Alberto on Micheal O'Neil, he was the best player in a pile of shite when I first started watching NUFC so will always be a favourite of mine. Add Sir Les, Pedro, and Shearer to the list, with a special mention to Albert.

Non toon, George Weah (before his bizarre Chelsea and Manshitty days) Baresi (always made it look easy) and Papin. Yes, you've guessed it, I used to watch Football Italia a lot in the early 90's.

"Calvo-Garciagol" is a hell of a mouthful, mind...

but better than Robbendive tbh.

My list:

1) Zico

2) Keegan

3) Beardsley / Brian Laudrup / Mehmet Scholl

Probably one of the first times I've been jealous of someone on here. Good stuff  :yes

Erm, and?

Calvo-Garcia is a Scunthorpe United legend. First Spaniard to play for them - scored the goal at Wembley '99 which won them promotion.

Mendieta played in his testimonial (as well as Campo and a few other prem players) but went off after 5 minutes because McClaren wouldn't let him play any longer
