The images literally look like an oil painting, with the brush strokes...

Yeah, and do those oil painting change to over 3000 different ones and can you watch telly on them?

It's nice to have a room without an obvious TV in it, and I can now put my work desk where the TV used to be so finally have a study.

I had a digital picture frame that did that about 20 years ago. Thought it was mint. Ended up in the cupboard after 6 months 😉

Got a wall mounted Samsung Frame TV finally. The fitting and the frame were both free (the latter on order) and a fair bit of cashback. When in art mode the TV is indistinguishable from an oil painting canvas like, I can see myself getting another of these if I can get a decent offer again.

All I have to do is tidy up the single input and power cord, which is clear anyway.

Ignore these cunts, where'd you get it from?

We need a second tv. The one in the front room is too often playing kids tv shows, so we need somewhere I can watch my superhero stuff.

I got it from John Lewis with £200 off, free fitting, and free frames (these are magnetic clip bezel frames which give the appearance of a genuine painting - they haven't arrived yet and cost £70 normally). Think it was about £750 all in for a 43 inch TV which is as big as would fit on a chimney breast. I'd not recommend trying the fitting yourself as it took two fitters 1.5 hours to sort ours out. Reckon in would have been north of £1200 without any offers which is not cheap for a 43 inch telly like.

I wouldn't take that recommendation even if you made it
