Andrew 4748 Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 He’s a good player sitting behind a lot of excellent (or expensive) ones at Man U. if he has any substance he’ll be after an England spot for the World Cup and coming here and putting the work in would likely be a death knell for his chance of that since he would be less likely to get a move to first team football in summer. He was unlucky not to make it to the euros after his form at West Ham. If he arrives here with that mentality and scores a similar number of goals he could save our season. I’d be amazed if he has the same impact he had at West Ham playing along the shite in our team but he has to be a better option than Longstaff.
