You missed out the next two paragraphs of that article. Which were the facts that the WHO have found no connection to the laboratory, and that it is Trump pushing it. And yes, I thought everybody already knew it was a highly specialised laboratory for zoonotic coronaviruses,.which is to be expected in that area. I'd tend to trust the WHO on these matters more than the bleach drinking Trump but that's my choice.

 

On a different note, I am dreading this summer a bit. The coast was manic today, never seen it like this in March. Mass drinking and BBQs on the beach, littering, antisocial behaviour, police everywhere. I understand why mainly under 25s are doing this but it's going to get worse and its not nice if you live here. I fear for the Lakes and Scotland as well. Going to be a bit shit this summer I reckon.

It's the summer, the weather will be nice and we'll actually be able to do stuff. That's got to be better than what it's been like and you can't really blame people for chomping at the bit.

 

Just get your daily beach waddle in early before the crowds descend. :razz:

I got my second 2 weeks ago through the hospital, I think it was 10 weeks after the first and was planned 8 weeks ahead. How did you get your first one? I thought it was through your company, in which case contact your HR?

 

On a separate note this will be the last queue jumping I do on jabs. I'm leaving the NHS next month for the other side, like a mini Chez Given. After the way I've been treated as an employee I will have no regrets making as much money for big Pharma as possible. Champagne enemas are on ice.

Mate of mine, jabbed 3 weeks ago, VERY ill with Covid, paramedics been out couple of times but not hospitalised yet !!! Fuck knows what he'd have been like if not vaccinated !!!

I had my second one way ahead of schedule last week, seemingly because the GP's surgery had a batch that needed using up (actually the same batch as my first one) so they sent out a bunch of invitations at short notice. 12 weeks would have taken me to mid-May.

 

Not that this helps you at all, but it'll annoy Gemmill so that's grand. :good:
