I'd just like to say the board is really hoping to hold on to the services of LTA. But if he has to go then that's just football. (And to be clear we want him here as much as we ever did. But you know that's football or whatever.)

Look, I've had a lot of fun taking the piss out of you for your weird fanboy adulation of ASM, but I've just been having a laugh.

Don't let it upset you, ok?

Look at the cunt.
Absolute toucher.

Wouldn’t even be allowed supervised trips off the nonce wing today, never mind being allowed to run a club like us.

FFS man you have been glaringly obvious as a mackem since the day you first posted.

Give it a rest man it is now beyond boring.

Not sure Maxi deserves all these comparisons to Barnes and journalists weighing in on the debate.

When Isak came in, there were no head to head comparisons to anyone else yet it seems that we have to convince ourselves (and the maxi fanboys) we are getting a better deal.

He hasn't left yet so it seems premature to talk about an upgrade if all that does is de-stabilise dressing room harmony.

He's a show pony cunt. I love seeing him tear the arse out of the opposition but it rarely happens, I labelled him Lua Lua 2.0 first time I saw him and after Covid thought I might be wrong. That was momentary, I wasn't - he's perfect for Saudi right now.

I don't get the dislike for him. We always got the authentic ASM, the good with the bad. Like I said earlier he really did try to adapt his game under Howe, but some of his fragility remained and there was a lack of clarity around his physical fitness as well with an injury cloud always hanging around. I do believe he loved the club and the supporters just not quite as much as he loved himself. I wish him well.

On his day, he was unplayable. Just a shame he struggled so much with consistency and injuries. Another mercurial French winger. Another one where where you wonder what might have been. If only his willingness to be coached matched his natural ability on the ball

I’m touched by his farewell message on insta. I don’t think he wanted to leave. Shame it didn’t work out for him but I wish him the best. He did a lot of good work with local charities and seemed like a good bloke off the pitch.

I didn’t dislike him- as Gloomy says, he seems like a nice bloke, who genuinely loved being here.

As a player he was frustrating to watch as many times, if not more, as he was exciting to watch.

Good luck to him.

I am far from disliking ASM. He did frustrate me on the pitch quite often because his final decision was lacking awareness but overall he was a positive influence on and off the pitch. Ideally we could have been able to keep him but selling him to make funds available is a decision that does make sense.

The fee is ridiculous though. We probably had to take less money not to rattle the big cunts though.

ridiculous isn’t it. File under the amount of money we settled for with the shirt sponsorship. ASM is easily worth £35-40m in this market
