Can't BELIEVE you're writing off Kuol.

No that was me, Wolfgang just thinks all Australians play egg ball of some sort! 😉

How weird is it watching those crowdless covid lockdown matches now? Bet none of them ever get featured as a "classic" match from the past.

BTW see you Miggy, thanks for the effort and dedication you gave for NUFC, you copped way more grief than you ever deserved, enjoy your time back with Atlanta (and be careful of those immagration czars).

Murphy is one of the cleanest strikers of the ball we have and he's pretty good with his left foot. Needs a bit of time to get the shot off though, the kind of time being Jacob Murphy can sometimes allow. Same principle applies to his passing.

He used to be a lot worse IMO because he would commit to dribbling and have his head down, beat his man then run into a blind alley and eventually turn it over. He's got rid of it from his game for the most part making much better decisions about when to pass or dribble. He can still sometimes get caught on the ball or make a poor decision but he has greatly improved his onfield vision, knowing where our players are and also where the goal is (rather than the post). Currently deserving of a starting spot but would be best suited to being an impact sub coming on when the game is a little more open. I've never found him to be a good player defensively despite him covering a lot of ground. I love to see him do well as he's clearly a great lad who loves playing for us. Like Dan Burn he's part of our identity as well as our playing squad.

Gordon, Barnes and Joelinton have all looked out of place when played on the right. I'd like to see whether Willock could play there. As much as he seems to be either hot or cold/injured (most often cold) he has the physical attributes and attacking intent to be dangerous.

he’s another one whose been Howe’d. His ability to improve players is second to none

I agree 100% and it's amplified 10x when you come in on the back of two and a half years of Steve Bruce.

Twitter being a fucking hellscape isn't news, but the weird reaction to the reaction of Almiron's transfer is fucking awful. People rightly, imo, wishing him well and looking back on his time fondly. Straight away you've got edgelord cunts calling him shit and being delighted to see the back of him.

The lad worked his bollocks off every time he pulled on the shirt, he never complained (to my knowledge), always played with a smile on his face.

It's not like he's been sat on his arse, picking up a massive wage while acting the cunt. Don't understand the opprobrium.

Be honest, have any of you EVER heard a real human being use the word 'opprobrium' in an actual conversation farken?

Probably any of the people on here who've met me. They'll have also heard me use a whole host of less common words, like meretrix.

Dunno why that came to mind.

You're dirty cunt if you eat a prostitutes clam.

Of the disgusting things MF does with/to/on prostitutes, eating their clam is depressingly far down the dirtiness scale.

Far down? High up? I dunno, but he's grim... is my point.

Can't fault Miggy for effort and attitude. And that purple patch was just brilliant, he did it just once but of course but thanks for that Miggy. I'm glad he's got some great memories to take away with him.

My God though, one of the most insanely frustrating players I've watched easily. And the purple patch made it worse in some respects because it told you he had the ability to make forward runs and take on people but for most of his time here he had that infuriating tendency to run backwards 20 yards with the ball. Sport is a mental thing as much as physical I suppose though.

Wish him the best back in the US. It's past time for him to move on. I agree it's risky having just Murphy on the RW right now but Miggy adds the sum of feck all these days so it's not really a loss. PSR needs must.

I wish him nothing but good luck.

He’s been a great servant to the club, never in any kind of bother (that I can recall?) , never gave less than 100%.

He seems like a really decent lad, I loved his response to that Beige cunt Grealish having a dig at him- say nowt, go on the best scoring run of his career.
“Fuck you, you yam yam speaking, hair and having, no goal scoring, wet fart. “😂

Good luck Miggy.

part of Miggy’s problem is his natural position is number 10, where his lack of a right foot is les of an issue.

The problem for Miggy is he wasn’t good enough to play number 10 in the premier league. And Howe doesn’t set us up that way anyway so left wing, which exposes his biggest flaw, was his only option.

That left foot was a wand in the season we finished fourth mind. Everything he hit with it seemed to find the top corner. He scored a couple of outrageous volleys
