Walliver 0
Hello. I'm doing a bit of work experience reporting on diddy football in the area and the game I was covering today went to penalties. I'm not really sure of the best way to go about this - should I briefly state who scored and missed or should I describe each penalty in detail ? If someone can provide links to proper match reports of games that finished in this way that they think do it well, I'd appreciate the help. Cheers. TheInspiration 1
So did Ivory Coast 12-11 89172[/snapback] Heheh, they needed their goalies and had to go all the way round again because of that - whinger Eto'o missed both of his.
DanTheMan 0
Don't describe each penalty in detail, only mention the interesting ones. Like I dunno: 'The first three players for each side converted their spotkick, before Player X missed. Player Y needed to score to win the game and....' etc. You may have to be careful though, they could prevent you from naming the player who missed the vital penna. There are loads of daft rules about that stuff in our local papers.
