There's still a load of £20 tickets available pitchisde in the Gallowgate and Leazes. People might've seen it before as it's the one that's (in)famous for man of the match Don Fox missing a last minute conversion. The conditions were absolutely fucking ridiculous on a waterlogged Wembley pitch which would've made playing football on it impossible (it was barely possible to play rugby on it). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1968_Challenge_Cup_Final I think it used to be one of the '100 Great Sporting Moments' (the 10 minute short films that used to be shown on the Beeb when they had a short time slot to fill). It did originally say that, didn't it? Or am I losing the plot?
