Shearergol 0
How many french managers have been successful over here? 88662 Two - Wenger and Houlier? 88676 Maybe I should have just left it at my first question, which nobody seems able to answer. 88685 I do not know what you are fishing for as i think its obvious to everyone that he hasnt done anything else, what with him only having worked for Rennes and Lyon. However 3 league titles in France and a good European record is more convincing to me than the likes of those that have been mentioned. IMO regardless of the fact he has not worked in England before i would consider him a better option than the likes of Pearce....who whilst i feel could be a good manager in the future i would ask, what has he done? 88694 I wouldn't want Pearce either, for the same reason. Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Apart from manage in France, what's he ever done? 88662 Did someone else take charge for their european ties like?

Ted Maul 0
http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/...c,14160.20.html SBR had a good career but you cant compare him with Hitzfeld!!! It'd be like comparing Lee Clark to Ronaldinho
luckyluke 2
Whose creaming themselves? 88695 Sorry, it was a cross-board reference. His name has been branded on both here and N-O for about a year now, and I can't understand why. How about Deschamps? 88713 Apart from manage in France, what's he ever done?
