A lot of classic 80s movies haven't aged well. I watched flight of the navigator with my boy recently. Remembering it being magical but it was a slow couple of hours getting through it

Yeah but you were a proper movie buff, I'm just a casual watcher.

Looking at the 250, marriage and kids has really put an end to that. Majority of the 30 or so I still haven't seen all in the last 7 years.

32. Interstellar (2014)
37. The Intouchables (2011)
72. Witness for the Prosecution (1957)
103. A Separation (2011)
106. 3 Idiots (2009)
108. The Hunt (2012)
124. Room (2015)
133. The Secret in Their Eyes (2009)
144. Warrior (2011)
146. Judgment at Nuremberg (1961)
150. Incendies (2010)
153. The Message (1976)
160. Captain America: Civil War (2016)
169. Mary and Max (2009)
170. Gone Girl (2014)
174. Nights of Cabiria (1957)
175. Rush (2013)
178. Platoon (1986)
181. Spotlight (2015)
182. The Wages of Fear (1953)
184. Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
190. 12 Years a Slave (2013)
196. Wild Tales (2014)
199. Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009)
201. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)
202. The Grapes of Wrath (1940)
204. Deadpool (2016)
205. Stalker (1979)
214. The Revenant (2015)
220. Twelve Monkeys (1995)
221. The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)
229. Prisoners (2013)
231. The Battle of Algiers (1966)
238. Fanny and Alexander (1982)
248. Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)
249. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
..and here I am watching The Best fucking Marigold Hotel like a wanker.
From now on, if we ever get to watch a film that isn't Toy Story 2 I'm going to make the wife choose from this list.

Get The Intouchables watched. I am missing about 20 of the top 100. I think its phoenix on kodi that has them in a collection. There may be one on exodus too.

Had a download of it on my PC for ages. Will hop to it asap :)

You've never watched Platoon?! That's more shocking than Ewerk's cinematographically impoverished childhood!

Surprised you haven't seem Twelve Monkeys like.

I've started it a couple of times. Didn't like it and unable to finish. Never like Brazil either. Actually, think the only Gilliam films I've liked at all were the Python ones.

Don't care for Bladerunner either.

A trilogy of dystopian future films it's frowned upon to say bored me.

Bladerunner is great, watched it first when i was about 12 so i think that may have had some influence. Its also (felt like) one of the most sampled films of all times, during the rave years there was always some track with samples from it. Then there was the classic 'Remake' track of the Vangelis theme that was on Renaissance.

I bought the dvd and it wouldn't work in my player so I gave it to a mate.

I think I probably have seen at least 90% of it. I don't remember sitting down to watch it from start to finish, but I think I've seen most of it across multiple Channel 4 Sunday night screenings.

Americans go to the jungle. Kill, Rape & pillage. Hurts them more than their victims. Right?

I highly recommend all of those. Can't believe you've not seen them.
