tooner 243
Black Mass, was good but couldn't get over how creepy Depp looked with blue eyes. Hard to believe that he was at large for so long.

Renton 22059
Touching the void. More idiots up mountains but hell of a yarn. So you didn't find it inspiring at all? I'm amazed you find it strange people take these risks to live their lives at the edge. You smoke, an act pretty much guaranteed to shorten your life and cause you morbidity. And for what? Chronic the Drug Wasp 6
Dirty Grandpa: Banal rubbish, turned it off after 11 mins. Robert de Niro lost the plot in the mid 90s and should've retired.
David Kelly 1260
The Night Before. I like Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogan is decent but this was the epitome of average. Might have enjoyed it more if I'd watched it at Christmas but I doubt it. Michael Shannon was pretty good in it though.

I'm amazed you find it strange people take these risks to live their lives at the edge. You smoke, an act pretty much guaranteed to shorten your life and cause you morbidity. And for what? I found their bid to survive inspirational. But setting off out for the day to attempt something that has such a high risk of death does nothing for me at all. It's like these people who tightrope walk between buildings or base jump etc etc. No thanks.
Alex 35667
Just depends on your outlook really. I totally get it. You only one life and you should spend it how you want to (with obvious caveats about consideration for others). Most of us waste our lives doing shitty, boring jobs etc. The same people you think are off their head probably think you're mental for smoking tabs or standing in a field for hours on end looking for stuff. As long as you're getting out of it what you want to though, who gives a shit? Getting back to them though, there's so few things that haven't been achieved by others, I can understand them wanting to do something that had never been done before. The sense of achievement, the exhilaration, the camaraderie, the shear appreciation of life. I wish I'd had the guts to do what they did, but I didn't, in any sense. ChezGiven 0
Black Mass. Depp is mental in it, worth it just to see him in deranged role which isn't a drunk pirate. Steve Jobs. Thought it was really well done and more about the sort of people who change the way the world looks. Youth. Fell asleep, I was knackered but it was a bit too slow and sleepy. Enjoyed Mark Kozeleck's appearance and the opening version of You Got The Love, need to re-watch. Sisters. Fucking shite.

Howmanheyman 33969
Still Alice Macbeth Thought the former was a little over rated if I'm honest, the latter was a mild form of lunacy on my part.
Kid Dynamite 7199
Big Eyes Enjoyed it. McFaul 35
Going to turn out for Grimsby on Wednesday. 99% of things SBC does are hilarious. Was impressed by Dirty Grandpa the other week. It's not a show for deep thinking film critics, but it was a good laugh. That Steve Jobs show was the least enjoyable time I think I've ever had at the pictures. So boring it was incredible. Will suit some people mind.
