Monkeys Fist 42459
Right, maybe wrong thread but bear with me. Over Christmas/NY I recorded a shitload of movies on my sky+ box from the Sky Movies channels I've now given sky a months notice that I'm dropping Movies , will my recordings be erased when Movies goes offline, or not? Seems a dumb question, but I'm a Sky virgin.
Gemmill 44931
I can't see how they would be able to delete them off your planner. I reckon they're there until you watch them. Get rid of them altogether. It's a beautiful thing to know that you're not paying £80 a month or whatever for TV.

Monkeys Fist 42459
Cheers Gem, I didn't think it was it the case but someone mentioned it and thought I'd check. Mrs. Fist was panicking that all the kids movies were about to go up in smoke. Paying £42/month for phone, tv & broadband- cheaper than I was getting phone and broadband from BT. Gemmill 44931
I had HD, multiroom, Sports, ESPN and movies. That was probably my problem.

Gemmill 44931
If you want something zero cost, you'll need to use torrents (and you'll need to get someone else to advise you cos I don't do torrents anymore). Outside of that, I'd use Usenet - I've just learnt how to use this (costs about £6 a month). Advantage of the former is it's free, but it's sharing. Advantage of the latter is that it's not sharing, but it costs.
Monkeys Fist 42459
Cheers. I'll have a look at Usenet, not keen on torrents either.
Gemmill 44931
If it looks confusing, give me a shout. I've just signed up this week and use Supernews (you can get an offer for $9.99 a month) and SABnzbd. See if you can work them out, if not gis a shout.
