Gemmill 46195
Touching the Void. Have meant to watch it for ages, and finally got round to it. Really good documentary, but honestly I don't know why anyone would put themselves through that to climb a mountain. I know we've got some rock climbers on here and that, but I'm assuming they don't do anything anywhere near as extreme. I mean one of the fellas even says of getting to the top "I actually don't like summits, cos 80% of accidents happen on the descent". So wtf you climbing it for? Hanging off a sheer ice face with two axes and some extra pointy winklepickers in whipping winds and snow - I just really don't get it. Fair play to that bloke for getting down though. Absolutely incredible.
Ayatollah Hermione 14094
Limitless Quite a well spun tale of psy drama. 7/10 Danny Simpson liked it.

I was wondering if the book would be worth a look actually. Might see if I can find a free copy for the Kindle. Watched 127 Hours today too. That was pretty mental as well. Really good watch. Christmas Tree 4858
Trying to remember the name of a film (and its driving me mad). Think it starts with a load of people dead in a village, just dropped down brown bread. The marines go in in a big 4 wheel job and they drop dead too. Then the army sends a droid? plane over and they notice that one of the dead bodies has moved..... Any ideas anyone?

The book is excellent. Joe Simpson is a fucking Jonah when it comes to climbing mind- previous to the Andes trip, his climbing exploits read like a catalogue of fuck ups. Christmas Tree 4858
Remembered a bit more..... Think the films starts with an extra terrestrial crash in a field and a young couple in a pick up find it and bring it back to the town. This is the cause of the sudden deaths of the towns folk, queue the marines.
