I nearly deleted it the other day. I like James McAvoy but Keira Knightley irritates me to hell She gets her growler out (ish) thats not a reason for me to watch it If I was that way inclined I wouldnt fancy her! (its kind of weird how I know who I'd fancy and who I wouldnt though) Names please *sweat on* Let me see I'd definitely go for Nigella. Cant think of her name but the woman who played Loralei(sp) Gilmore in The Gilmore Girls. hhmmm who else?....Katy Perry maybes. I'd watch it on DVD if I was you though, because I assume itv will have hacked it to pieces. The big Dunkirk stedicam shot was filmed on Redcar beach when I was there. Incredible scene to see. The Way Back - Alreet but the whole timescale of the journey felt disjointed to me and it drags a bit. Monsters - I liked it, didn't try to be just like Distict 9, special effects were quite weak but then again it was low budget and there aren't that many effects shots in it. The Next 3 Days - Enjoyable, did the trick on a sunday afternoon and wasn't as cliched as cliched as I was expecting. Season Of The Witch - Cackfest. Wasn't actually too horrendous till the shit CG in the final 3rd then it was laughable. 127 Hours - Enjoyable and the tone was well judged, could very easily have been hellish boring. Very corny, tongue in cheek but aaaaaaaaaareet ye naa. Was about this group of four pals who go on a stag do to Vegas and end up looking for some cowies on the street, but the dealer gives them date rape drugs by mistake. So the next scene they wake up in their lush hotel room at a top casino 12 hours later with no memory of anything, there's a baby in a cupboard they have no idea how it got there, one of the blokes goes for a shite and there's a tiger in bathroom, a blokes missing a tooth and Mike Tyson comes round (turned oot to be his tiger) and worse still they've lost the groom. Affleck plays a 37 year old who suddenly finds himself out of work. Expecting to be back in work in a few days, the reality of his situation begins to bite. Having being a 37 year old in a pretty similar position, I found it a very true to life experience apart from the last two minutes when they hollywooded the ending.
