Jimbo 175
Friday Night Lights. I dont think ive seen a more unoriginal American Football film (even though its apparently a true story). Varsity Blues with the kid out of Tokyo Drift rather than the kid out of Dawsons Creek. I thought it was shite, Any Given Sunday pisses over it, another one for Jonny's collection I'm afraid. I've got almost all of Explosions in the Sky's stuff because of that film.

Happy Face 29
The Bourne Ultimatum The sort of film Alfred Hitchcock would be making if he were alive today. Except the women would be blonde harbingers of doom.

Brock Manson 0
Lilya 4 - Ever Film about human trafficking for sex. A russian girl who has been forced into prostitution gets tricked into going to Sweden where she's subsequently used as a sex slave. Really chilling stuff, makes you think about how this actually happens and the effect it can have on people. Brilliantly done, although the scene where her friend becomes an angel was a little off touch with the rest of the film. Hard-hitting all the same though. Happy Face would like it. He may HAVE been, but he wasn't averse to using the camera to make the audience feel sick himself, so I'm not so sure.

ewerk 30393
Seven Pounds - I wasn't too sure about this but it came together nicely to give a big emotional ending. Better than the reviews it has been getting imo.

MattM4 0
John Q - Seen it several times, but it's still amazing. Denzel Washington is so brilliant in it. Flash of Genius - Story of an inventor with Greg Kinnear. Good watch.

David Kelly 1224
Persona - 6/10 I really don't have a fucking clue what this was about but I think I quite liked it. I bet David Lynch loves it though. The Shanghai Express - 8/10 Classic Hollywood film that they simply don't make any more. Only let down was the main bloke who is one of the worst actors I've ever seen. Punch Drunk Love - 8/10 Very glad I splashed out the £4 on this. Sandlers best film and possibly PT Andersons too (Boogie Nights is excellent too but it's been a while since I've seen it and I need to give Magnolia and TWBB another go). Reminded me a lot of Lebowski.

Kitman 2204
Slumdog Millionaire. Very good. Can't recommend the Mike Ashley spinoff, Scumbag Billionaire however. Not worth the entrance money.
