Happy Face 29
The Kingdom was pretty enjoyable. Decent performances throughout and well executed action scenes, I thought the subject matter was a little over-simplified though. Wouldn't argue with that. I like the way it's ok for the black man to survive in Hollywood nowadays, shame the muslim is the token good guy death these days. Happy Face 29
Slacker Uprising. I can see why it didn't get a cinematic release. There's only so much of Michael Moore trying to whip up a crowd you can take. The self congratulation is a bit sickening too. "Look, all these people love me!". Maybe before the election it would have stirred me a bit more, as it is, the only moments that affected me was the support for military personell and their families. Brock Manson 0
4 Weddings & A Funeral It was comfortably the worst film I've ever seen. Absolute horseshit from start to finish, and I wanted to twat Hugh Grant throughout. Saw it on the telly and can honestly say the adverts were more entertaining than the fucking film. Brock Manson 0
Carrie - enjoyed it, although I found the girls who bullied her were in no position to be doing so...one of them was dressed as Mario ffs. Just bought the original Hitcher (quality film) and Gangs of New York. Never watched the latter all the way through so looking forward to that. Tooj 17
Pulp Fiction, downloaded in HD last night so had to give it a watch. Zed: Bring out the Gimp. Maynard: Gimp's sleeping. David Kelly 1260
Inland Empire. What the fuck was all that about? Even for a David Lynch film this had me completely lost, it just seemed to be a load of scenes with people walking in and out of rooms. I honestly couldn't see what the film was supposed to be about at all.
