ewerk 31293
Napoleon Dynamite - I really wanted to dislike this film due to the amount of wankers who go on as if it was the greatest film ever made and whilst it was a very gay film it was the good sort of gay so thumbs up from me. Tooj 17
Predator 2. Say what you want about the film but the finale is one of my all time favourites. When Glover goes onto that spaceship and you see all of the old artifacts, absolutely brilliant.

Happy Face 29
Cries and Whispers - Not Bergmans best imo, couple of times I checked how long was left, which is never a good sign. Nasty bit with the shard of glass had me squirming like. Annie Hall - God I love this film, it's funny as fuck. Depending on which one I've seen most recently I alternate between this and Manhattan being Woody Allen's best. I guess I'm not alone in that. And Diane Keaton is lush. Happy Face 29
T2 Special Edition Arnie's smile is hilarious. It's nasty to think, the only fantastic idea in these films is the time travelling saviour coming to warn us of impending armageddon and help us avoid it. Course, we could always just switch the computer off if it started kicking off with us.

David Kelly 1260
Tokyo Story - Brilliant Japanese film about an old couple who live in the sticks and go to visit their grown up children in Tokyo but their children don't really have much time for them and end up passing them from one to another until they go home and the mother dies. Sounds shit I know and tbh I really didn't fancy watching it despite being told it was a classic, but it's just an amazing film and I loved it. Forbiden Planet - Somehow I have managed to avoid seeing this before despite it being on TCM about once a week for the past god knows how many years. Another film that I didn't really fancy seeing but I thought it was excellent. Clearly an inspiration for Star Trek but much better than any of the Star Trek films. I could easily imagine Shattner playing the lead instead of Leslie Neilsen but doubt he would have been better. Probably one of the best sci fi films prior to 2001.
