Just put Terminator 2 on.

Has to go down as one of my favourite films of all time.

It's been ages since I watched it as well but you do forget how great it really is.

:D Even more breathtaking at the time. Ground breaking special effects.

Look at the effects in that and even the likes of the Die Hards much better than all of the over the top CGI they have nowadays. On the trailer for the new Die Hard there's this CGI scene involving a car and it just looks so wrong.

Enjoyed 'Inside Man' like. Bit different for Spike Lee.

Sure it wasn't 'Inside men' you've been watching

:D You tit

I can see where he'd get that idea. Sounds like a film James Dean would have enjoyed.

Allegedly.

Fairly well-documented he was bi. I'm just a puff.

The Breakfast Club was on the other night. Should comprise at least half the modules on any film studies undergraduate syllabus tbh. Groundbreaking.

Agreed.

John Hughes should be held in as high regard as Scorsese & Spielberg. No-one's made a better run of films than:

The Breakfast Club (1985)

Weird Science (1985)

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)

Genius.

He did Home Alone too, which is still a quality film. He was never to know what a nauseating little twat McCauley Culkin would become and escapes any criticism therefore.

Half Nelson.

Slow moving but quite gripping. Ryan Gosling is superb. Well worth a watch. Not sure if it has a wide release though.

Does he "Tombstone" someone in the film?

Those are easy ones though, no-one on the English speaking planet would ever call them shite.

Scarface (Original) - Tbh I prefer the remake but this original version is good too and unlike the quite slow pace of the Pacino version it really speeds along. Paul Muni isn't in the same league as Pacino but George Raft is good as his best mate 'Little Boy'.

Dead Mans Shoes. Really liked it, a bit near the knuckle but that's life tbf.

Taped Kung Fu Hustle last night, looking forward to watching it tonight. I've seen Shaolin Soccer which I thought was superb.
