Hotel Rwanda - Cracking film this, I vaguely remember the stuff that was going on there during that time, but this film showed how bad it was.

Office Space - Funny as hell. Great film

Bubba Hotep - The main characters are elvis and a black JFK in a nursing home and they are trying to kill a mummy. Weird, surreal and amusing

Shoalin Soccer - comedy gold, one of the best "football" films out there.

full metal yakuza - Another sick yakuza movie from Takahashi Miike. This guy is the king of odd films.

Layer Cake - starts off quite well but I thought it became unneccessarily complex (in a bad way, i.e. trying to be too clever) as it went on. Not bad but not as good as the hype.

Munich - my review.

Drank seven mini bottles of wine

Abused one member of staff

Reduced four Jews to tears with nasty comments

Sneered at all of the other people watching who didn't have a clue what was going on

Pissed in the fire escape rather than walk the long way to the toilets

:D

The bit where Mr Jingles dies or when they execute John?

Both got me going! ;)

Blade on Friday night, seen it before, but you can't go wrong with a cracknig old style action flick like that.

Must get round to buying the box set and watching them all back to back at some point.

Dont ever watch Blade Trinity. You are chucking away 90mins of your life that you'll never get back.

Do you remember when Stephen King first launched the book?

They called it a serial novel; instead of one book they released little paperbacks with a few chapters in each (about 90 pages each iirc).

One book came out every few weeks, really kept the suspense going.

Fulltime Killer

I love Hong Kong action. It's every bit as stupid as American action but is well aware of it and takes nothing at all seriously. And films can be stupid as they like if they're this much fun. The final battle within a warehouse as fireworks go off all around is hugely entertaining. And there are constant references to the dumb American movies being parodied to enjoy. I think I even liked this more than The Killer or Hard Boiled which seem to have inspired a lot of the operatic violence.

...and at only £3.99 from CDWOW, it's steal.
